Jedi Temple on Coruscant

The Jedi Temple on Coruscant was a temple that was used by the Jedi Order. Many Jedi lived there, but most were out at war during the Clone Wars. The Temple was the target of operation Nightfall by Darth Vader and the 501st Legion, few Jedi survived.. After Order 66, the Temple was ransacked by the 501st Legion. It lied in ruins and was protected by squads of Imperial Navy commandos and Imperial Sentinals from prying eyes who seek to plunder the secrets of the Jedi. in reality, the troops there are actually ordered to wait for Jedi to return who they ordered to attack and kill.
